Does for Sale

We keep our kids with their mothers for the first eight weeks because, like human babies, teat-raised kids tend to have better overall health outcomes. Goats are herd animals and thrive with friends close by. For that reason, we only sell our goats in pairs (bucks with a wether and does with another doe or wether). All goats for sale will be disbudded and be checked by a vet before their pickup date.

Sales Policy

All goats must be sold in pairs–no exceptions. Reservations are $20, which goes towards the purchase price. We will only take a primary reservation for each a doe and a buck for each breeding pair–all other reservation requests will be waitlisted. After kidding, we will notify you if a goat is available from your selected breeding and confirm your selection if there is a choice of multiple kids. Reservations can be held for another season or transferred to another kid if your selected breeding pair does not produce the desired sex. Once a contract for purchase is sent, a 50% deposit is required within seven days or the reservation fee is forfeited and the kid will be offered to the waitlisted buyer or listed as available for sale. Deposits and fees are not refundable if the buyer cancels the sale. As soon as the kids are eight weeks old, transportation of the kid needs to be arranged, although we reserve the right to delay the sale of any goat based on their per-sale vet check. The remaining payment will be due at pickup.
